Mr. Yasuhiro Daisho has studied Gasoline engines and Diesel engines for clean emission and proposed low NOx and high efficiency engine technology while developing fast battery charging technology for electric vehicles of the future. In recognition of these achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induce Mr. Y. Daisho into the Hall of Fame.

Around 1997 when Toyota started marketing of mass produced hybrid vehicle “Prius”, Mr. Daisho’s group produced “The Waseda Future Vehicle” to demonstrate high fuel efficiency. The vehicle was further modified as a fuel cell vehicle to demonstrate further fuel efficiency.
