Developed the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle and led the next generation mobility

Mr. Takeshi Uchiyamada has developed the world‘s first hybrid powered automobile for optimum fuel economy in response to the environmental needs and successfully introduced it to the global market and lead the advanced mobility technology for broader application for the future. In recognition of these achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induce Mr. T. Uchiyamada into the Hall of Fame.
