In the early days of motoring, during the Meiji period, Mr. Shintaro Yoshida developed his home-bred ‘Yoshida’ automobiles. These pioneering machines were found to be competitive with imported vehicles, and to further business, he also attempted car hire and the creation of dealerships. His efforts are a valuable contribution to automotive society in our country. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Shintaro Yoshida into the Hall of Fame.
