With great determination, Dr. Shizuo Yagi arranged the structure for theoretical research of the internal combustion engine, and was able to realize ultra-high revolution motorcycle engines with exceptional output. He also established the norms of design for Formula 1 racing engines with his colleagues, and devoted a lot of effort to the development of low-emission power-units. He made a significant contribution to the growth of our automotive industry and culture. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Shizuo Yagi into the Hall of Fame.
