Paving the way for research on automotive noise, vibration and harshness, based on theory and experimental results, Dr. Atsushi Watari systematized NVH performance, and established design procedures for suspension springing along the way, thus making a remarkable contribution to the progress of automotive technology. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Atsushi Watari into the Hall of Fame.
