As a pioneer of traffic psychology, Dr. Fujio Uruno promoted research and legislation concerning traffic safety, paving the way for the prevention of drunk driving and the provision of safety education for young people. He also founded The Japanese Association of Traffic Psychology. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Fujio Uruno into the Hall of Fame.
