With a unique philosophy on lightweight, low drag automotive body construction and innovative suspensions, Mr. Ryuichi Tomiya devoted all his life to the development of economical ultra-compact motor vehicles. Vehicles like the ‘Flying Feather’ made a valuable contribution to the growth of our automotive industry. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Ryuichi Tomiya into the Hall of Fame.
