Dr. Takashi Suzuki made a distinguished contribution to the prosperity of our automotive industry through the development of the engine installed in the Hino Contessa, as well as powerplants using advanced electronic control systems, turbo intercoolers, VG turbocharging, and electronically-controlled common rail fuel-injection. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Takashi Suzuki into the Hall of Fame.
