Based on an elaborate investigation of historical facts on road transportation in the Edo and Meiji eras, as well as the business of importing and production in the early stages of Japan’s motorization in the Meiji to Showa periods, Mr. Isao Sasaki compiled the systematic history of the automobile. His published works have made a valuable contribution to our automotive culture. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Isao Sasaki into the Hall of Fame.
