Along with the management of the Okura concern as its second president, Mr. Kishichiro Okura helped build the foundation for Japan’s entry into motorsport as a driver in the early days of racing. He also promoted the import of cars, and founded the Japan Automobile Club, and should thus be recognized as a true pioneer of Japanese motoring culture. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Kishichiro Okura into the Hall of Fame.
