With a strong passion for racing, Mr. Takayoshi Ohashi finally succeeded in conquering the Le Mans 24-hour Race in 1991. He had been entering teams in the French classic since 1974, with all of the cars using a Mazda rotary engine. His enthusiasm for racing helped nurture Japan’s motorsport culture. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Takayoshi Ohashi into the Hall of Fame.
