After several years developing aircraft power-units, Dr. Nakagawa applied his talents on automotive engines at the Prince Motor Co., and the Nissan Motor Corporation after that. He supported motorsport activities with cars like the R380, and in addition led the development of advanced and innovative technologies such as electronic control systems. A giant of the engineering world, he made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the total performance of automobiles. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Ryoichi Nakagawa into the Hall of Fame.
