Mr. Hideyuki Miyakawa

Born in 1937

Contributed to advancement of automotive design by introducing carrozzeria to Japan

In the course of touring around the world by motorcycle, Mr. Hideyuki Miyakawa was fascinated by the design of Italian automobiles, and participated in the establishment of the Ital Design studio. He then worked tirelessly as a bridge between Italy and Japan to introduce advanced automotive designs to our country, making an outstanding contribution to Japan’s motoring culture. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Hideyuki Miyakawa into the Hall of Fame.
