Dr. Kazuo Kumabe was a pioneer in the field of research and development of automotive technology during the early years of the Japanese automotive industry, and successfully produced an innovative small vehicle to demonstrate his research to the world. Dr. Kumabe paved the way for others to follow in his steps and further Japan’s industrial development. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Kazuo Kumabe into the Hall of Fame.
