Mr. Jiro Kosugi

Born in 1915

Pioneer industrial designer in the field of automobile design manufacturing

By suggesting that design activities should have the same process as technological development, advocating industrial design concepts at a time when they were still uncommon in society, Mr. Jiro Kosugi contributed to the spread of a new style of automotive design technique, accomplishing several achievements as a pioneer. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Jiro Kosugi into the Hall of Fame.

Kosugi was responsible for designing the 1959 Mitsubishi Silver Pigeon Bobby 200.
