As Japan’s car industry started to expand, using his instinct, intellectual wit and determination, Mr. Yutaka Katayama broke down barriers in the USA and converted countless Americans into lovers of Japanese automobiles. His original philosophy made a huge impact on motoring culture, and contribution to the prosperity of Nissan on both sides of the Pacific. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Yutaka Katayama into the Hall of Fame.
