Dr. Katsumi Kageyama

Born in 1920

Established basic theory of motorcycle dynamics through research

Establishing the basic theory on motorcycle dynamics, as well as devising techniques for motorcycle testing, developing driving simulators, and promoting academic and educational activities concerning research on motorcycles and automobiles, Dr. Katsumi Kageyama made an important contribution to the expansion of knowledge regarding motor vehicles. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Katsumi Kageyama into the Hall of Fame.
