With a policy of “when in Rome, do as Romans do,” Mr. Yoji Hamawaki founded a motorcycle production plant in the USA, and developed the market for big Japanese motorcycles overseas. He then turned his attention to importing automobiles into Japan, and made a great contribution to the progress of our automotive society and culture. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Yoji Hamawaki into the Hall of Fame.
