Dr. Shoichi Furuhama devoted much of his life to the pioneering development of hydrogen-powered automobiles. His laboratory spawned many followers, who ultimately carried on his work to successfully create practical hydrogen-powered utility vehicles. His technical prowess and ability to educate others was a valuable combination for our industry. In recognition of these great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Dr. Shoichi Furuhama into the Hall of Fame.
